Jawad Amin is the founder and Managing Partner of Silverdale Solicitors. Jawad started his articles in 2001 and qualified as a solicitor in 2004 whilst working for a city firm in Manchester. He then set up his own practice in 2006

Specialisation: Personal Injury, Civil & Commercial Litigation and Insolvency.

Wide range of cases practiced including Industrial Diseases –Employer’s liability - Serious and catastrophic personal injury claims. Jawad has a vast amount of experience in cases involving Highways, Local Authorities, supermarkets and Utility companies aswell as routine road traffic accidents. He also represents small to medium sized companies in commercial disputes ranging from £1000 to £1.5m. Jawad has a growing practice area in family law and specialises in contact matters and ancillary relief matters. Jawad also has a insolvency practice and regularly petitions for bankruptcy, winds up companies and annuls bankruptcies. Jawad heads the Family, Commercial and Insolvency department.

Jawad has ultimate responsibility for managing the firm and ensuring that high standards are provided and maintained by all members of staff. Jawad is also the client care and complaints partner and an accredited mediator. He is member of the following: Law Society Personal Injury scheme, Association of personal injury Lawyers, Senior Litigator with APIL, Employment Lawyers Association, Pan European Organisation of personal Injury lawyers (PEOPIL), American Association for Justice (formerly Association of Trial Lawyers of America).
